Ivalua Recipient of 2010 Pros to Know Award

Monday March 1st, 2010 - Ivalua CEO Philippe Levy Named As 2010 Supply & Demand Chain Executive Provider Pro to Know

Ivalua, a leading provider of smart procurement solutions, today announced that Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine, the executive's user manual for successful supply and demand chain transformation, has named Ivalua CEO Philippe Levy to the tenth annual listing of Provider Pros to Know in the Supply Chain Industry.

Supply & Demand Chain Executive has released its list of 2010 Provider Pros to Know. The Provider Pros to Know is a listing of individuals from a software firm or service provider, consultancy, or analyst or research firm who have personally helped clients address the challenges of the recession and prepare for the recovery ahead. This year's list included more than 130 Provider Pros to Know.

“This year's Provider Pros to Know have shown themselves to be thought-leaders in the Supply Chain industry," said Andrew K. Reese, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. "Highlighting the learnings that the Provider Pros to Know have taken out of the Great Recession provides our readers with a wealth of best practices that they can apply in their own supply chains, as well as insights into how leading organizations are positioning themselves for competitive advantage in the Great Recovery ahead.”

“It’s an incredible honor to be recognized by Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine as one of the publication’s elite group of 2010 Pros To Know,” said Levy. “Ivalua congratulates the other executives being honored as we continue to provide the industry leading service and solution our clients have come to expect and enjoy.”

This year Supply & Demand Chain Executive is also recognizing 25 individual Practitioner Pros to Know. The Practitioner Pros to Know is a listing of exceptional corporate executives at manufacturing and non-manufacturing enterprises who are demonstrating leadership during the current economic downturn by managing risk in the supply chain, providing competitive advantage and/or delivering value to the bottom line.

“Our goal with the annual Practitioner Pros to Know listing is not only to highlight outstanding Supply Chain executives and their accomplishments but also to turn a spotlight onto the initiatives that leading organizations are undertaking to give their companies a competitive advantage as the economy emerges from the Great Recession," said Andrew K. Reese. "Mr. Levy serves as a role model for other Supply Chain practitioners looking to bring their own organizations through these turbulent times.”

Supply & Demand Chain Executive, which has created three separate sets of criteria for the Practitioner, Practitioner Team and the Provider Pros to Know, issued a call for Pros to Know nominations in November 2009.
