Veolia Environmental Selects Ivalua Buyer

Mountain View, Ca. – April 6, 2010 - Seeking Improved Purchasing Performance, Veolia Selects Ivalua

Ivalua, a leading provider of flexible procurement solutions, today announced that Veolia, the global reference in environmental services, has selected Ivalua Buyer.

After a rigorous evaluation of all the solutions on the market, Veolia Environmental selected Ivalua’s integrated software suite, Ivalua Buyer V6, for its next generation e-Purchasing tool.

“We chose the Ivalua solution because of the breadth of its functional footprint and its modularity,” says B. Mainguy, Project Leader for the system at Veolia Environmental. “In addition, users from the pilot program particularly appreciated the ease of use and intuitive design of Ivalua Buyer.”

Veolia needed to update its spend management system to meet the reporting needs of the executive management team, while better-serving its purchasing community as a whole. The main objectives of the new purchasing system were to enhance the automation of data exchange and to share purchasing repositories and data in a user-friendly and expandable tool.

“The unmatched flexibility of our spend management solution gave us a strong position in Veolia Environmental's vision for their Purchasing Information System,” says Philippe Levy, CEO for Ivalua. “By selecting Ivalua Buyer, Veolia is prepared to scale its purchasing needs indefinitely in scope and longevity, while addressing the company’s most immediate and pressing challenges right away.”

In a first phase, Veolia Environmental will implement 4 of the 21 modules from the Ivalua Buyer V6 suite, which met most of Veolia’s needs right out of the box. The first four modules Veolia selected include, Supplier Management, Action Plan/Savings Tracking, Contracts Management and Purchasing Dashboards.
