Job Descriptions

Develop, create, and modify computer applications software for business needs. Analyze and customize software solutions for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Modify software to improve performance and direct software testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints and determine system performance standards. Design and develop software applications and analyze system capabilities and requirements. Develop design specifications with technical team input to ensure that the design matches the business requirements. Consult with clients regarding software system design and maintenance. Oversee project deliverables, timelines and overall communication with clients. Provide guidance to project teams regarding software requirements and contribute to configuration efforts and regression testing. Perform unit testing before providing requests to the client and provide feedback to the technical team on mismatches and bugs. Define the scope for each delivery and communicate this scope to the technical team ahead of time in order to get the work accomplished. Make recommendations to management about prioritization and resource allocation with input from clients and internal team member. Communicate with project teams as necessary to ensure project deliverables are on schedule and establish project milestones, assess project status and make course corrections or adjustments. Maintain and integrate project plans and ensure that all key parties are advised.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related or foreign equivalent.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Knowledge of Enterprise Software Platforms;
  2. Knowledge of Business Intelligence Technology; and
  3. Knowledge of Software Systems Engineering.
