APRR Adopts the Ivalua Buyer Solution to Handle Supply
Redwood City, May 21, 2013 – APRR, Europe’s fourth largest motorway operator (two billion euros in revenue; 4,000 employees) and a subsidiary of the Eiffage Group, operates a network of nearly 1,500 mi of highways. Confronted with new challenges, the APRR Group Purchasing Department decided to launch an initiative aiming to structure and professionalize its procurement activities through the implementation of a purchasing information system covering e-Procurement flow in particular.
In this context, APRR chose to rely on the Ivalua Buyer V7 e-Purchasing solution, with the goal of improving operational coverage of the supply chain process. Several modules were chosen to do the job, including Supplier References / Catalogs / Purchase Requests and Orders, which will be linked to APRR’s ERP system.
“To reach our new goals, we found it necessary to implement an e-Purchasing solution which would provide structure and facilitate the placing of orders, especially catalog orders.
