Day 2: Inspiring Keynotes on  Procurement’s AI-Powered Future

Day 2 began with energy—including a 7 a.m. 5K run through the streets of Paris—before moving into a series of keynotes that set the tone for the future of procurement.

In the CEO keynote, Franck Lheureux delivered a clear message: AI will transform procurement—but realizing its full potential requires the right platform and partner.

He shared how enterprise AI, agent-first strategies, and Agentic AI are set to fundamentally reshape procurement, helping organizations manage complexity at scale while enabling faster, smarter decision-making.

At the center of this transformation is the Ivalua platform, where AI is embedded across the Source-to-Pay lifecycle to turn innovation into measurable business outcomes. Ivalua founder and Chief AI Officer David Khuat-Duy’s keynote on The Agentic AI Revolution revealed how far AI agents have come from simple assistants to helpers that can autonomously launch and execute tasks, saving procurement teams precious time to allocate to more strategic, value-generating tasks.

Pascal Bensoussan shared Ivalua’s innovation roadmap and the company’s vision for the Enterprise AI Platform for Procurement, outlining how AI is being embedded across the platform to help organizations automate complex processes, unlock deeper insights, and make faster, more informed decisions.

Innovation Showcase: Bringing the Future to Life

The discussions continued with the Innovation Showcase, where Pascal and Vishal Patel were joined by Ari Stone and other Ivalua experts in a lively Dragon’s Den–style format. Through live demonstrations and fast-paced presentations, attendees experienced new AI-driven capabilities and product innovations firsthand. The session also featured a surprise appearance from Ivalua founder David Khuat-Duy, adding to the excitement.

Together, these sessions demonstrated how Ivalua continues to innovate on two fronts—advancing the vision for enterprise AI and autonomous agents while strengthening the core solutions organizations rely on across Source-to-Pay.

Turning AI Potential into Enterprise Value

Building on the keynote themes, David Khuat-Duy, Founder and Chief AI Officer, shared how Ivalua is transforming AI’s potential into real value for procurement.

David unveiled Ivalua’s vision to become the Enterprise AI Platform for Procurement, powered by Agentic AI and an agent-first mindset.

By combining human expertise with intelligent AI agents, organizations can automate complex processes, unlock deeper insights, and scale procurement transformation across the enterprise.

At the foundation of this vision is trusted data, governance, and transparency, ensuring AI delivers real enterprise impact.

As Dr. Natacha Tréhan suggested in her session, organizations must move beyond legacy models and treat AI as a driver of systemic transformation—redesigning processes and organizational structures rather than simply layering new tools onto obsolete workflows, and enabling entirely new flows that were previously impossible.

Customer Stories: Innovation in Action

This year’s Customer keynotes demonstrated how leading organizations are translating innovation into real business results.

Emmanuel Gaudin of Hutchinson joined Alex Saric on stage to discuss how close collaboration between IT and Procurement can unlock significant value. By redesigning their processes around a single supplier master database and system of record, Hutchinson strengthened data quality, governance, and decision-making using Ivalua’s advanced Supplier Information Management capabilities.

Another compelling example came from Körber CPO Michael Schuermann, who shared how the organization is turning AI ambition into measurable outcomes, delivering more than €8M in commercial and operational benefits.

Together, these stories showed how forward-looking organizations are moving beyond experimentation—using technology, data, and collaboration to drive meaningful and lasting procurement transformation.

Building Community and Leadership

The Women & Procurement: Women Leading Change program brought together influential leaders who shared how they are breaking barriers and driving meaningful progress across the industry—from advancing sustainable sourcing to fostering innovation and inclusive leadership. The conversation reflected the growing impact women are having in transforming procurement organizations around the world.
